Wear your dress at least once before your Wedding to get used to walking in it and coping with the train if you have one.
Wear your shoes around the house to 'break them in' - this helps to avoid blisters on the day.
If you need to wear smooth plain lingerie under your Wedding dress, have something a bit more sexy to change into for your Wedding Night. (Well we would say that wouldn't we?!!)
If your dress is strapless invest in some sticky strips, just in case the fabric eases through the day and you need a little extra help in holding it up.
Make sure your Bridesmaids know exactly how to loop your train up for the evening. Ensure this is done in plenty of time before your first dance - if you need to.
Avoid getting water on your dress at all costs if it is made of silk.
To remove small pulls and snags from your dress run your fingers along the grain line of the fabric to ease it away. Do not cut the fabric.
